Advantage or scandal? Twitter will tell everyone how many people saw your tweet

Twitter has decided to launch a feature that enables users to watch the number of viewers of their tweets similar to those on platforms such as YouTube, which shows how often a video is viewed.

The announcement came via a tweet by Elon Musk on the platform, saying "Twitter will make it possible to see the number of views, so you can see the number of times you watch a tweet that is normal for the video."

"More than 90% of Twitter users read, but don't tweet, reply or click the like button."

Twitter already has a feature that presents more detailed analysis of tweets than just the number of likes, retweets and quotes of tweets.

When you click on the "View Tweet Analytics" button at the bottom of the posts, you can find out how people interact with your tweet, such as how many who visited your account.

The total number of appearances, defined as "Twitter views of this tweet" can also be found.

The difference in the new number display feature is that the number will be visible to everyone, not just to the account holder.

Not all users have access to this feature yet, as it takes a while to roll it out.

The feature is currently available on iOS and Android, with new functions expected for the platform on the web soon.
